National Cyber Security Centre CEO receives CTM360 CEO
Manama, May 17 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Cyber Security Center, received Mirza Asrar Baig, Founder and CEO of CTM360.
Shaikh Salman bin Mohamed congratulated him on the company's historic achievement of being recognised among 17 leading global firms in the field of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI). This recognition came in the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant report dedicated to this domain, published on May 4.
Shaikh Salman bin Mohamed commended the accomplishment, noting that it marks the first of its kind for a technology and software company in the Arab world. He emphasised that the recognition stands as a source of pride for the Kingdom and reflects the growing stature of Bahraini national talent within the global cybersecurity landscape. He noted that this milestone embodies the outcomes of the leadership and visionary direction of the Kingdom, alongside the innovation-driven ecosystem the country has cultivated, which has empowered national companies to compete at the highest international levels.
For his part, Baig commended the continued support that the cybersecurity sector receives from the National Cyber Security Centre. He affirmed that this achievement is the culmination of a journey spanning more than a decade of dedicated work, and a reflection of the nurturing environment that the Kingdom has provided to foster and advance technological innovation.
The two sides underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration between the National Cyber Security Centre and leading national companies operating in this vital sector, a partnership that contributes to consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a regional and international hub for cybersecurity, and to advancing the digital transformation journey in line with the Kingdom's Economic Vision 2030.
