CTM360, a Bahrain-Based Cyber Security Startup, Awarded at the First Ever Bahrain Tech Awards Ceremony

CTM360, a Bahrain-based cyber security startup, was recently one of only five companies awarded a Bahrain Tech Award at the inaugural ceremony sponsored by Tamkeen, Bahrain’s Labor Fund, and Bahrain Technology Society (BTECH).

The ceremony focused on honoring the most successful Bahraini built technology products and services. CTM360’s Cyber Incident Response Unit (CIRU) was chosen as a stand-out performer for its consistent innovation and performance. The Bahrain Tech Awards were held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai (UAE) on 9-10-2017 on the sidelines of Gitex Technology Week 2017.

Currently in growth stage, CTM360 heavily focuses on innovation and agility. Operating solely outside the perimeter of any organization to identify and eliminate potential threats. CTM360’s Cyber Incident Response Unit (CIRU) was initially built in order to address ever evolving cyber security issues and to empower organizations within the Middle East against cyber threats and risks. The unique 24 x 7 x 365 cloud-based service offers a comprehensive bundled offering with flexibility to tackle all threats from cyberspace. In particular, CIRU remains a action and result-oriented service to hunt and neutralize all threats.

As technology evolves and the rise in digitization requires more security and safety. CIRU, Bahrain's very own cyber incident response unit was developed in order to detect and respond to threats that are evolving in cyberspace. Not only does CTM360 cater to Bahrain, but all across the middle east and globally.

“We remain humbly grateful to Tamkeen and BTECH for this recognition. It is truly an honor to be associated with these great initiatives. The Kingdom of Bahrain remains well-positioned to capitalize as a technologically advanced economy, with adoption of e-services quick and doing business increasingly easy. It remains an ideal location for foreign companies to set up shop,” stated Mirza Asrar Baig, CEO of CTM360.

“Parallel to the country’s drive of making Bahrain the FinTech hub of the region, CTM360 also encourages emphasis to be placed on Cyber Security, which remains in line within the ICT agenda of Vision 2030.”
